J2ME APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

Cellmania, a leading wireless applications company is looking for J2ME applications engineers to build J2ME applications that make use of Cellmania's mFinder provisioning platform. Applications will help drive the user experience of using, buying, and delivering mobile content and applications to the phone.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, engineering or sciences
Mobile experience in at least J2ME, and preferably also WAP, XHTML
Rapid prototyping capability very important – ability to quickly build working demo, from a concept description
Ability to create good, pleasing user interfaces – some graphics ability would be a plus
Ability to design and program for resource constrained devices
Experience with XML a plus
Flexibility, ability to multi-task and handle changing requirements are must
Energetic, inspired, dedicated, passionate about software development and product quality
Ability and willingness to learn new material quickly and with little top down management

Nice to have requirements

Ability to work with media (streaming, video) APIs on mobile devices, a plus
Experience in BREW (2.x, 3.x), Windows Mobile (WinCE, PocketPC), and Symbian, nice to have
