Cellmania's mFinder(TM) Wireless Search Engine and Directory is Now Available to Rogers AT&T Wireless Customers Across Canada
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. and TORONTO, Canada, Feb. 4, 2002: Cellmania, a leading provider of mobile business solutions, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Rogers™ AT&T(R) Wireless, Canada's leading provider of wireless communications services, to provide Cellmania's mFinder™ service to wireless data subscribers on the Rogers AT&T Wireless network.
Cellmania's mFinder has specially customized its directory and search engine for wireless products provided by Rogers AT&T Wireless. With Cellmania's mFinder, Rogers AT&T Wireless customers can search and browse virtually any Canadian wireless Web site anytime, anywhere. In addition, Rogers AT&T Wireless customers will now have access to a database of 25,000 wireless applications such as news, finance, travel and shopping, each reviewed and certified by the Cellmania team of editors.
Cellmania's mFinder enables users to search for applications using keyword search or by using numeric shortcuts called WebNum™ Logo Numbers. Cellmania has created a global search and directory service incorporating WebNum Logo Numbers, which enables wireless users to browse Internet sites and access the Internet rapidly by entering a WebNum shortcuts associated with the Internet site's domain name. WebNum navigation allows content providers to map their established fixed Internet domain names to the wireless environment, thereby extending their brand and reach. In addition to searching for sites, users of Cellmania mFinder can read reviews and ratings of the application and can add the site to their bookmarks with a touch of a button. Cellmania service is accessible from the Search and Portals folders on the Rogers Wireless internet menu.
