Cellmania Announces Deployment of mFinder V5.0 with Innovative Digital Rights Management, Deck Management and Data Mining Reporting Features
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA –June 16, 2005– Cellmania, Inc. announced the availability of Cellmania mFinder V5.0, an industry-leading digital-content download platform for operators. Cellmania mFinder V5.0 enables operators to on-board different types of content, such as Java Games, Ringtones and Wallpapers with intelligent error checking mechanisms reducing the time and expense involved in this process. New Deck Management capabilities provide operators with Data Mining graphic interfaces to optimize the shelf-space on the deck by managing lists, such as What's Hot, What's New, categories and promotions using real-time sales metrics or manual selection. Digital Rights Management features also allow content providers to obtain subscription and deactivation models without changing code. Lastly, reporting features allow operators to see slice-and-dice performance in real-time.
Specific innovative features in Cellmania mFinder V5.0 include the following:
- Enhanced Item Discovery – provides multiple ways for wireless consumers to discover items, including by content provider, category and search.
- 360 Degree Data Mining Reports – provides content providers and operators with real-time reports to slice-and-dice sales performance by title, time, handset, category, provider, promotional campaign etc.
- List Manager – provides operator staff with graphical tools to manage lists of What's Hot, What's New, Promotions and Categories by device or the entire deck and select what items go into the list based on sales performance data mining slice-and-dice results or manual selection.
- Unified Workflow Editor – provides operator staff with a unified interface to edit both launched items and items in the approval queue. Includes streamlined workflow capabilities for handling code-signing, code-wrapping and revocation.
- Digital Rights Management modules – that enable purchase models such as subscription and pay-per-day without the content provider having to change their application.
- Self-Test Tracker – provides content providers a deck to self-test download capability of their own content. The system provides operator staff with Self-Test results by handset, item and version that they can use to decide whether to launch an item. For example, if item was not self-tested or failed the self-test then the operator may not launch the item.
